What Quits First?

Many
professional technicians have found that diagnosing intermittent faults causes
hair-pulling frustration, un-billable time and continuous comebacks. WHAT
QUITS FIRST? can be setup and left monitoring the engine
at idle, allowing you to work on other vehicles, until the fault occurs which
causes the engine to quit. At the
instant the engine stops, the analyzer will identify whether FUEL QUIT, IGNITION
QUIT or INJECTION QUIT caused the engine to quit. This result
will eliminate two thirds of the possible areas, showing you the area to
analyze, thereby eliminating unnecessary parts replacement and saving you much time and
money. The analyzer will work on most gasoline vehicles, and can be used on
the road for stalling, as well as
to quickly identify why an engine will not start.
Hookup is quick and easy with two leads to the battery, one capacitive clamp over the coil or sparkplug wire or connection to the supplied inductive coil-on-plug adapter, and one magnetic pickup attached to one of the injectors. After connection, a unique calibration is setup for that engine, which enables lack of fuel to be identified. If fuel is not the problem, it will indicate whether ignition or injection failed first and whatever the result is, it is locked and displayed until RESET is pressed.
The instrument is housed in a black ABS case with a membrane keypad, is made with reliable surface mount technology and uses ultra-bright colored LEDs, giving good visibility, even in sunlight. The 6' leads are able to handle high engine temperatures (Teflon), and it is powered from the vehicle battery. It is supplied in a blow-molded carrying case with instruction manual, coil-on-plug adapter, injector clip and warranty card.
"What a great new tool! This one is my first step in helping locate those miserable intermittent dying problems. Quickly hooks-up and simple to set-up, then just start the engine and let it run while you are doing something else. Then, when the engine quits, simply look at the leds and it tells you which system to analyze further, the ignition, injectors or the fuel supply." Steve Bartock. ASE Certified Master + L1 Tech. There is nothing else on the market like What Quits First? It is affordable for individual technicians, and can pay for itself after helping solve even one job, that normally you might turn away. It also comes with a full one year warranty against manufacturing defects.
